Re: Previous Post "Wood on Walls"

Maybe this image is too small, but if you look closely you might notice. This is not wood on a wall. Seems like a good option for someone like me who loves to paint and is skittish about putting a bunch of nails into the crisp new walls of my attic.

Here's another.

Maybe in Moxie's room

I saw a bunch of apple crates for sale recently and wanted them but I didn't know what for- now I do. This could really bring the future lavender bedroom of a certain 4 year-old really down to earth. Kids' rooms are so often dominated by plastic and so disneyfied, this could add the right amount of rustic character.

And the above could be pretty awesome in a girls room- less sparkle than a traditional chandelier- a good thing in my mind- but still pretty magical.

She also really likes these.

This is pretty much the most appealing photo I can imagine right now.

Wood on the walls

Clean and cozy. I like it. I've seen some barn wood advertised in the local classifieds lately and like the idea of it but wasn't sure what exactly I'd do with the stuff. No longer.

I'd also been thinking of getting a daybed. I like this one from West Elm, and I like the setting.

Sweet, and good for inspiration, but woah Fussy.

All the previous pics are painted, but unpainted also has it's charms.

And also I'm in love with this.

Sticks and Burlap

I love sticks in otherwise sleek kitchens.

I don't love the provencial shabby chic look, but that burlap would be a rad tablecloth in, say, a sleek kitchen with the occasional stick.
