Just Do It.

I want to re-cover my favorite chair. I want it to have bicycles on it (at least, that's what I want on it this week). So I searched for bike print upholstery fabric. Weirdly, it's not out there. This is totally the kind of thing Shell's Brain Store would carry. But then I found some on etsy.



Pretty good, eh? But it's sold in minute quantities. The seller's description says the design is screenprinted. Hand printed fabric? Hey! I could do that! And mine would be way better!

So now I have this image in my mind and every time I see that chair I think of what it could be if I could just pull it together enough to get all the supplies, learn to screenprint, screenprint a few yards of fabric, and recover the chair (something I've never done). I could totally do this.

It's a curse.
